MACAA Town Hall Meeting: Nelson County

Community Dialogue

MACAA will be hosting a Town Hall style meeting on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Nelson Memorial Library. This meeting is open to the public and will include a brief presentation, followed by an open discussion regarding community needs, opportunities for collaboration and enhanced services, and other concerns and challenges facing families in our community.

Democratic Election of Constituent Board Members

In addition to a dialogue with the community, MACAA will be conducting a democratic election for board members that represent clients and constituents. We value the voices of those we serve, and we aim to engage and elevate the views and needs of families impacted by low income, as well as offer leadership opportunities at the highest levels within our organization. Read IM #82 to learn more about the requirements of a tripartite board and nominate a prospective MACAA board member today!

RSVP

Registration is not required, but is preferred. Light refreshments will be provided. Please share this opportunity with others in our community; A flyer is attached for your convenience.
