Free Meals for Kids and Teens with MACAA's Summer Meals Program

School’s out for summer!

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA)’s Summer Food Service Program, also known as the Summer Meals Program or SFSP, was established to ensure that children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. When school is out, SFSP provides free meals to kids and teens in low-income areas. MACAA is proud to partner with SFSP as a No Kid Hungry summer meals site.

Monday, June 29 - Friday, July 31, MACAA will be providing free lunch to all children under the age of 18—and their caregivers. We feel strongly that supporting the health and well being of the whole family is essential to a thriving future. No registration is required to participate.

Weekly activities, freebies and prizes will be available!

In addition, during the first week of the Summer Meals Program, participating children will be eligible to receive a free book as part of our Summer Reading Challenge.

Please join us Monday—Friday, 12pm to 1pm at 1025 Park St, Charlottesville, VA 22901. For more information, send us a message at info@macaa.org.
