Local Caterers Wanted: Submit a Proposal for USDA Contract with Head Start

MACAA’s Head Start program seeks a qualified caterer to provide meals for 30 children 3-5 years old and 7 adult staff members for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. The successful vendor will comply with USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines and requirements ensuring children are served nutritious meals according to best practice food safety standards. This will be a fixed price contract that will be claimed and reimbursed through USDA CACFP.

The vendor will be responsible for delivering meals to MACAA Head Start’s Park Street Center by 11:00am, Monday though Friday. The vendor will be responsible for food delivery only. Setup and serving will be handled by Head Start staff. Hot meals and cold meals will be delivered at their required temperature degree to the greatest extent possible. All meals should be delivered in individual serving size containers.  

This Request for Bids (RFB) will close on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 4:30pm. Proposals must be submitted to Cassidy Moore, Health & Nutrition Coordinator, at cmoore@macaa.org
