MACAA is seeking a dynamic Director of People to support the growth and development of our talented team!

Position Summary

The Director of People (DoP) streamlines and oversees the administration of people operations functions including—compensation, benefits, and leave; grievances, disputes, and investigations; talent acquisition, development, and progressive discipline; engagement, recognition, and morale; and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead the people strategy within MACAA by ensuring the People Operations team thoughtfully drives growth and champions the development and success of each staff member (70+ FT and 10+ PT employees; $5.7M annual operating budget). The DoP directly supervises one staff member, participates as an engaged member of senior leadership, and develops strong relationships with all levels of management and staff. As a result, they keep a pulse on the mood of the organization and act as a connection point between leadership and staff. The DoP will use a DEI lens in all areas of people operations to foster a culture of belonging.
